1. About Landed

Landed (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the website at landed.sh and related services. We provide AI-powered tools to help job seekers tailor CVs, write cover letters, and prepare for interviews.

2. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using Landed, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. You must be at least 16 years old to use Landed.

3. Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@landed.sh if you suspect unauthorised access.

You may not share your account with others, create multiple accounts to circumvent usage limits, or use automated means to access the service.

4. Paid plans, billing, and refunds

Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis via Stripe. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Access continues until the end of the current billing period.
We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods, except where required by applicable law (e.g., the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 14-day right of withdrawal for digital services not yet consumed).
Prices may change with at least 30 days’ notice. Changes take effect at your next renewal.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Use Landed to create fraudulent, defamatory, or misleading content
Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from the service beyond normal use
Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security or rate-limiting features of the service
Use the service to transmit spam, malware, or any unlawful material
Resell or sublicense access to Landed without our written consent

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

6. Intellectual property

You retain ownership of the content you upload (your CV, job descriptions, and related materials). By using Landed, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process that content solely to operate and deliver the service to you.

The Landed platform, brand, code, and all original content we create are our intellectual property. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of our IP to you.

You own the AI-generated outputs (tailored CVs, cover letters, etc.) produced for your account. We make no claim to those outputs.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

Landed is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that:

AI-generated content is accurate, complete, or suitable for any specific job application
Using Landed will result in interview invitations or job offers
The service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from security vulnerabilities

Always review AI-generated content before submitting it to employers. You are responsible for the accuracy of any information you use from Landed.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Landed and its officers, employees, and contractors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including loss of data, revenue, or employment opportunities.

Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising under these terms shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) £50.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through an in-app notice at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

10. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights you may have in your country of residence.
